With all the records breaking songs BTS has become a household name. The records broken by BTS have now become a new SKY to the k-pop industry. The sky that, many new idol groups dream to reach. 1. Charting on Billboard’s Hot 100 list

BTS with their new single BUTTER in now charting on #1 of Billboard Hot 100 list for constructive 6 weeks. This record is created by BTS as the only k-pop idol. The first group in the 21st century to rich this mark. Moreover, this is not the only song that charted on #1 on billboard hot 100. Along with Butter BTS’s Dynamite, Life Goes On & Savage Love (Remix) has also charted on #1 on billboard hot 100 list.

2.  Most view on the premiere

With 3.9 concurrent viewers BTS’s BUTTER MV has broken the record for most viewers for the premiere of a music video on YOUTUBE on MAY 21. At the same time, BUTTER has broken the record for most views on a premiere for a music video.  The previous record was also held by BTS with another English song DYNAMITE.

3.  Most Viewed Music Video in 24 hours

BTS butter also suppressed the record of most viewed music videos within 24 hours by their single BUTTER. With the view counting 1,082,00,000. BTS’s BUTTER snatches the crown of DYNAMITE for the most viewed MV within 24 hours. BUTTER currently has 419,600,376 views on YouTube. In addition to that BUTTER has also broken the record of most-streamed song in 24 hours on Spotify accumulating the number of 11,042,335 in this time.  The record was previously held by “Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber’s” “I don’t care”.

4.  Most streamed video on Spotify by Group

On April 27, BTS become the ”most streamed act” on Spotify for groups with 16.3 billion streams the previous record was held by another musical group “Coldplay”.

5.  First Group after The Beatles to have 3 billboard no 1

BTS’s album Love Yourself: Tear, Love Yourself: Answer, and Map of the Soul: Persona was released within 12 months. And they also spotted on the top of billboard 200 charts. This record created by “The Beatles” and after “The Beatles” BTS achieve the record.

6.  Nominated and performed in Grammy’s

BTS is the first K-pop idol who was nominated to the Grammy’s 2020 with their song DYNAMITE. Following that BTS is also the only k-pop group nominate to this prestigious music award show. BTS also gets the privilege to perform at The Grammy’s in 2020 and 2019. The mountain they are touching BTS may become the first Korean idol to win The Grammy’s Award.

7. Billboard Music Awards

In 2017, BTS was nominated for Top Social Artist as the first K-pop group. This year BTS was not only nominated but also win as the first Korean artist. BTS record-breaking campaign did not stop by only wining for once they are winning the fellow award for constructive 5 years. BTS also won the top Duo/Group award against Maroon5 and Image Dragon breaking and creating another record by Asian Idol.

8. First K-Pop group to perform at U.S award show

In 2017 BTS become the first-ever K-Pop idol to perform on a major US award show. Performing with their song IDOL it was their first TV debut on an American Show.

9. Highest Sales Ever for an Album on Gaon Music Chart

BTS break the records of highest selling album with their album Map of the soul: 7 Counting the sale over 4.1 million copies. BTS breaks the record of the bestselling album in South Korea.

10.  Getting Gold Album Certification

BTS is the first-ever k-pop idol to receive Gold Album Certification with their album Love Yourself: Answer in 2018.and following that their album Map of The Soul: persona, also receive the Gold Album Certification. In this Album DNA and Fake Love has been certified Gold, while three others Mic Drop, Boy with Luv, and Idol have been certified platinum. This is also another record that was created by any Korean artist.

Highest Ranking Album

BTS also have the highest ranking albums on Billboard 200 chart. This time also BTS was the first-ever K-pop group to chart at the first ranking with their album Love Yourself: Tear. BTS again recorded as the first-ever group to hit the highest rank on this chart.

 Most-Followed Twitter Account in Korea

In May, BTS Twitter account @BTS_twt became the first Korean account to hit 20 million followers. BTS' second Twitter account, @BTS_bighit wasn't too far behind with over 15 million followers. BTS is and Big Hit entertainment is also on top 3 most followed on Twitter account in South Korea.

 Most Twitter Engagements Ever

BTS has the most Twitter engagements ever. Harry Styles previously held the record with 147,653 engagements per tweet. Once, Justin Bieber tweeted, "Now watch this tweet go crazy," after he wished BTS' Jungkook a happy birthday on Twitter. According to BBC, with each BTS tweet "having an average of 330,624 retweets, replies, likes, or other interactions," BTS has the most Twitter engagements ever

Fastest to Reach One Million Followers on TikTok

BTS becomes super trendy on TikTok when they joined TikTok on Sept. 25, 2019. On Oct. 23, the Guinness World Records organization announced that BTS gained one million TikTok followers in record-time: 3 hours and 31 minutes.

BTS also have the most Live streamed view on Vlive. Whenever they catch an opportunity to catch up with A.R.M.Y’s they never miss the chance. Meanwhile, A.R.M.Y also jumps up to join the Vlive to meet their idol. In fact, many international A.R.M.Y installed Vlive app apps just for BTS.
